MODULE 02 / The ASE Stack
Layer 3 — Redress & Reconstruction
6 MIN READ
LAYER 3
A decision must be challengeable
Redress is the path by which a governed decision can be challenged and re-examined. Reconstruction is the ability to rebuild why the action was allowed, refused, or escalated from the preserved evidence.
This is where ASE moves beyond a pass/fail gate. It preserves a decision chain that can support review, dispute handling, incident analysis, and governance learning.
REMEMBER
- A decision with no challenge path is brittle.
- A decision that cannot be reconstructed becomes a story, not evidence.
- Redress anchors the later review to the original receipt.
