DOCTRINE
The discipline under the system
No trace, no trust. No authority, no action. No evidence, no claim. No receipt, no execution.
Doctrine is the safest way to explain ASE because it keeps the language grounded in control, evidence, and accountability. It also prevents overclaiming. The doctrine does not say AI will never fail. It says consequential action should not proceed without proof.
FOUR PILLARS
- Trace: what was requested and what context surrounded the request.
- Policy: what rule applied to the proposed action.
- Authority: who or what had permission at decision time.
- Evidence: what proof supports the verdict.
HOLD ONTO THIS
The doctrine is not branding language. It is an operating constraint. If a required proof pillar is missing, the system must refuse or escalate rather than let the action pass silently.
